Kenyan actress Neema Sulubu has recounted one of the most painful moments she will never forget throughout her life.
Speaking to Billy Miya and Mbaruk Mwalimu on Maskani 47’s ‘Hii si za kusahau’ segment, the popular actress highlighted July 27th, 2020, when her dad passed away. According to her, his death hit her hard, and no amount of consolation or “baby girl” treatment could fully erase him from her thoughts.
She further explained how close they were and how losing him during the 2020 COVID pandemic made it even more difficult for her.
“I will never forget the day I lost my dad. Ilikuwa 27th July, 2020. Saa hiyo Corona imeshika kushika. Hata mtu akuje na bouquet ya maua, nakumbuka tu. Tulikuwa close sana,” she emotionally stated.
In a past interview, the budding actress, who is also a journalist, revealed that she comes from a family of seven siblings. She detailed that her thriving acting career is based purely on talent, noting that she had never been to a theatre school.
