Mbunge wa Nyali Mohammed Ali ametishia kuondoka katika chama cha UDA. Kupitia Mtandao wake wa Twitter Mohammed amesema hatashiriki katika uchaguzi wa viongozi mashinani wa chama cha UDA katika Kaunti ya Mombasa utakaofanyika Ijumaa na Jumamosi.
Ali amesema uamuzi wake umetokana na hatua ya Katibu Mkuu wa Chama Hassan Omar kuingilia masuala ya uongozi mashinani bila kuwaheshimu viongozi wengine.
Mbunge huyo amesema, ‘’It has become Unequivocally clear that the upcoming Mombasa’s Grassroots Elections have been compromised and Hence, it is quite unfortunate that #TeamMohamedAli will not be taking any Part in them. The SG’s Blatant interference, his Evident Handpicking of Officials to manipulate the outcome, represents nothing but a profound Conflict of Interest. His tendency to Micromanage the Party, prioritizing his Personal Political interests over the Will of the People, is not only Unacceptable but a Grave Disservice to the Citizens of Mombasa.’’
Kulingana na Mohammed Chama cha UDA si chama cha mtu mmoja hivyo lazima heshima iwapo. Ametishia kuondoka iwapo hali haitabadilika.

Uchaguzi wa viongozi wa UDA mashinani unafanyika kaunti kaunti 22 . Kaunti hizo ni pamoja na Bungoma, Garissa, Isiolo, Kajiado, Kilifi, Kisii, Kisumu, Kitui, Kwale, Lamu, Machakos, Makueni, Wajir, Mandera, Marsabit, Migori, na Mombasa .
Nyingine ni Nyamira, Siaya, Taita Taveta, Tana River, na Turkana
