Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS), has uploaded a deadline reminder to KCSE 2024 candidates who are currently tendering their Degree and Diploma applications for the September 2025 intake.
According to KUCCPS, the deadline is one week away and thus candidates who have not submitted their applications should do so as soon as possible by 30th April, 2025.
“1 WEEK TO GO! Have you submitted your application for Degree or TVET programmes? Yesterday was the best time to apply; today is the second best time.” KUCCPS wrote in a statement.
The Placement body has urged the candidates to avoid waiting for last minute to escape any technicalities on that day.
“Do not wait for the last minute. Apply now!” KUCCPS concluded.
The message KUCCPS says is targeting those applying for Degree, Diploma and Certificate courses in Universities, Technical and Vocational Education and Training centers (TVETs) and Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs).
The application portal was opened on Friday, March 28, 2025 for the 2025 university placement.
An applicant looking forward to pursue a degree course must obtain a minimum grade of C+ (plus) in KCSE, while a diploma student must have at least a C- (minus). A certificate student is required to have a minimum grade of D+ (plus) in KCSE.
