Viongozi wa upinzani wameshtumu vikali mauaji ya watu watano katika eneo la Angata Barrikoi, Kwenye kaunti ya Narok, Jumatatu tarehe 28.
Wakiongozwa na Kalonzo Musyoka wa Wiper, aliyekuwa Naibu wa Rais Rigathi Gachagua, Martha Karua wa Liberation Party, Eugene Wamalwa wa DAP-K wamesema mauaji yanayotokana na mizozo ya umiliki wa ardhi yanazidi kuongezeka nchini
Ghasia zilizuka baada ya wakazi wanaodai kuwa wamiliki wa ardhi ya ekari 6, 300 kufunga barabara kuwazuia maafisa wa ardhi dhidi ya kuikagua..
Katika taarifa ya pamoja baada ya mkutano mapema Jumanne, viongozi hao wamesema tatizo la mizozo na unyakuzi wa ardhi limekuwa janga la kitaifa.
Sehemu ya taarifa hiyo ilisema, “Land fraud and displacement has now become a rampant national crisis. Organized syndicates, operating with the protection of heavy-handed police forces and a compromised justice system, are fraudulently preparing ownership documents to forcefully and illegally expropriate land from rightful owners,”
Viongozi hao wameikashfu vikali serikali ya Kenya Kwanza kwa kutolishughulikia tatizo hilo.
Kuhusu uchunguzi uliofanywa na Shirika la Habari la BBC ulioonesha jinsi mauaji ya vijana waliokuwa wakiandamana kuupinga Mswada wa Fedha wa Mwaka 2024, yalitekelezwa.
Wamesema hivi, “The International Media broadcaster BBC’s scathing documentary #BloodParliament has further exposed what Kenyans have long suspected.” Waliendelea na kusema. “We are appalled by the deliberate reluctance of relevant government agencies to investigate and prosecute these atrocities.
