Kiari Kendrell Cephus popularly known as Offset is now demanding that his estranged wife Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar aka Cardi B  pay him spousal support after their split is finalized, according to new court filings in their divorce case.

The Migos rapper requested a judge to approve spousal support of his soon to be ex-wife on Thursday, May 29 as the rapper filed an amended response to the divorce proceedings earlier this month which now contains a request for funds from Cardi B.

The amended filing add request for an unspecified amount of alimony but remains unchanged otherwise in New Jersey Bergen County Superior Court as first reported by TMZ.

After six years of marriage, Cardi filed for divorce from Offset in August 2024, seeking primary custody of their 5-year-old daughter Kulture, 2-year-old son Wave and then-unborn baby. According to Cardi’s representative, the divorce filing was not based on any one particular incident, it has been a long time coming and is amicable.

The divorce has been a rollercoaster ride for the two, as well as for the public as Cardi has repeatedly changed her opinions regarding Offset when people blast his baby daddy for not being a good father.

In an online comment, she shared, “Ok this is getting weird cause I can say he helps me a lot with my business and the kids … Never in my career, no matter what I went through I had friends or family go to the media, sooo I don’t know who is this damn source going to people magazine.. Even with my filling, I’m not asking for child support my claim is for him to only pay for the bills he already pays on the kids and the new one.”
