While the exact cause of death has not been disclosed, reports indicate that Fenty had recently battled an illness. Sources close to the family told Starcom that loved ones had gathered in California before his passing in the early hours of May 31.
Ronald Fenty had a complicated but evolving relationship with his daughter, who has previously spoken about both the challenges and reconciliations they’ve experienced over the years.
