A new Kenyan comedy, Inside Job, is set to premiere on Netflix on June 14, starring Jacky Vike and Eunice Mammito, who are both actors and digital content creators.

The Kenyan comedy was directed by Tosh Gitonga popularly known for his other Netflix films such as Disconnect: The Wedding Planner(2022) and the musical drama Volume all under his Primary Pictures company.

Inside Job dwells around Jacky and Mammito as cousins who take matters into their own hands after witnessing injustice after a heartless businessman fires his housekeeper without warning or pension.

According to the films’ writer Angela Ruhinda, the project was greenlit by Netflix in 2022.”At its core,Inside Job is a fun crime comedy about two cousins who will do anything for each other, even commit a crime.”

Jacky Vike popularly is known for her screen roles in the Citizen comedy Papa Shirandula, Nairobi Half Life by Tosh Gitonga and Click Click Bang by Philit Productions.

Jacky has also transitioned into producing with her own web series “Disco Matanga” following Jacky as Awinja and her family trying to navigate through rituals and processes of trying to bury her brother.

Mammito Eunice is a Kenyan actress who does comical skits online also dabbling as a stand up comedian both independently as a comedian and under Churchill show

The cast on board also include Shiksha Arora, Irene Kariuki, Elyas Moshkwani. The series is Written by Angela Ruhinda, directed by Tosh Gitonga and produced by Mahinda Joe.
