Somber mood has engulfed Kogendo Village, Kotieno Sub-location, following the unexpected demise of 35-year-old Joseph Odhiambo Awuondo under mysterious circumstances.
According to an official police report filed at Rabuor Police Station under OB No. 02/06/06/20250, the deceased’s wife, Nancy Jerop, arrived at her homestead at approximately 1800 hrs after a two-month separation from her husband. She found Awuondo in good spirits, together with their 11-year-old son, David Onyango. The family shared supper and engaged in conversation, with no apparent signs of distress or illness.
Later that evening, Jerop and her husband retired to bed, reconnecting after their time apart. His remains were transferred to Othoo Funeral Home, where an autopsy is expected to be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
