Police in Bomaina, Kisii South are looking for two suspects who are connected to the sale of illegal alcohol in the region.
The two are said to have ran away during a multi-agency team operation comprising officers from the National Police Service and the National Government Administration Officers.
The officers seized approximately 12,550 litres of Kangara and 70 litres of Chang’aa during the operation.

The operation, led by Kisii County Police Commander Mr. Ronald Kirui, CP and Kisii South Sub-County Police Commander Ms. Inviolata Imali Lumati, SSP, targeted two residential homesteads in the Riotachi and Motonto areas of Kisii County.
The National Police Service reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying the crackdown on the production and distribution of illicit alcohol, which poses a serious threat to public health and safety.
