History was written this weekend after Kenya Police Fc and their women team, Kenya Police Bullets, won FKF premier League and Kenya Women Premier League titles respectively marking the first time in the history of the FKF Premier League top flight where both the men’s and women’s titles have been won by the same franchise in the same season.
Brian Okoth etched his name in the history books as perhaps the player who scored the goal which secured Police Fc’s maiden League title after his 75th minute bullet header sealed Police’s 18th League win of the season. With 10 draws and 5 defeats, Police Fc are now Champions with a game to spare as Second placed Gor Mahia despite their 3-2 away win against Ulinzi Stars are on 58 points, 6 behind Police with only one round of matches left.


The unprecedented double triumph marks a historic milestone for the disciplined forces’ football program and highlights the growing dominance and investment in both men’s and women’s football within the club. It also cements Kenya Police as the most successful club of the 2024/2025 season.
With this feat, Kenya Police becomes the 11 different team to win Kenya’s top tier football competion since 1974 joining past winners; AFC Leopards,Gor Mahia, Tusker, Ulinzi Stars, Sofapaka, Oserian, Utalii, Mathare, Sony Sugar and Luo Union.
For the Women’s team, Striker Rebecca Okwaro’s hatrick on the final match week and Emily Moranga’s goal secured Police Bullets a 4-0 victory against Trinity Starlets consequently sealing a second title in a row. This coach Odemba’s side is now starting to dominated KWPL with traditional heavyweights like Vihiga Queens, Bunyore Starlets and Thika Queens chasing shadows.

Okwaro also won the Kenya Women Premier League golden Boot with 24 goals for the season.
