The Communications Authority of Kenya has lifted the ban on live coverage of demonstrations, effective immediately.
This comes a day after the directive was issued barring live broadcast of protests across the country. In a statement Director General David Mugonyi, has said the Authority confirmed that the suspension of the ban is now in effect.
