In the wake of an online dispute with comedian Mulamwah, digital creator Ruth K has launched a new page for their son, separating herself from the previous account, which Mulamwah used to post inappropriate images of her.

In an Instagram post on Thursday June 26, Ruth admitted she has been struggling with her mental health. However, she promised to remain strong for her son, Calvin.

“As much as we have been fighting for our country, I have been fighting for my mental health too. Hey son, mummy is still hanging in there for you and will always be strong for us. One day soon we will sit down and celebrate God’s doing in our lives. We gat this my Calvin,” she wrote.

In a similar post, comedian Mulamwah announced their son’s new name, claiming Ruth K has changes their son’s surname from Oyando to Wanjiku.

“Mr. Calvin Karegi Wanjiku,” he wrote on Instagram.

One week ago Mulamwah and Ruth K were involved in a public spat that started when Ruth blasted Mulamwah on social media for sending her KSh 5000 and then reversing it, which angered her.

Moments later, Mulamwah wrote a lengthy message accusing Ruth of adding over 80 women to a WhatsApp group and claiming that he was HIV positive.

The two later publicly apologised following the online spat that sparked widespread reaction from fans.
