Popular actress and Producer Jackie Matubia has ignited a debate by contrasting presence of her two daughters Zari and Zendaya’s fathers stating one being very present and the other being a deadbeat father.
The mother of two says that she has tried everything to have her ex-lover Blessing Lung’aho who is the father of Zendaya (her second child) to be in her life, but all went down the trenches as people perceived her as if she wanted him back and hence decided that she will raise her daughter alone.
“A man who wants his child will look for ways to get to his child.” Jackie says regarding all the efforts her ex-husband made to get close to her first daughter Zari.
Jackie speaks of how her first daughter’s speech was affected by how things were at home following the separation of both her parents that led to them to jointly and willingly take her for speech therapy. They say it took only 3 weeks for then to see a drastic improvement in their daughters speech.
“Zari started speaking at the age of 4 years” Jackie states.
While waiting to fully dilate, Jackie gave birth to her baby, Zendaya, all alone in her hospital room before any nurse could get there
“I have done this before, I have co-parented with a man before and a man who wants to be in the child’s life would go over and beyond.”
