Director of Criminal Investigations DCI has confirmed the arrest of Businessman cum TikToker Godfrey Mwasiaga Kakan Maiyo.
In a statement posted on it’s X account, the DCI said Maiyo was arrested for allegedly posting a video video inciting violence against police officers and their families. ”The video had been uploaded to his TikTok account” the statement read in part.
According to DCI Maiyo was arrested after detectives trailed him to Kimathi House, where he was operating a discreet office under the name LetaPeleka Logistics.
He is currently in custody undergoing processing, pending arraignment.
the statement comes after a video circulated online showing Maiyo being taken away by unknown people, with his friend saying his whereabouts were unknown.
Later the DCI confirmed his arrest putting to rest the speculation.
