Popular Nigerian artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has declared he will forever remain a monogamous man.
In an interview with Breakfast Club podcast, the ‘unavailable’ crooner vehemently stated how cheating comes with a lot of problems.
He cited having multiple women in his life and experience from his polygamous uncles as the basis of the women friendly decision.
According to the Singer, the belief that money solves cheating and polygamy problems is a lie. He candidly points out how one of his uncles is undergoing challenges in his polygamous marriage despite having lots of money.
“I don’t want wahala (problems). I said I don’t want anyone… There is too much wahala(with cheating). I have 5 kids with four women…I have an uncle; all his wives live with him. He is a Christian and very rich but with all the money, there is still wahala. Maybe because I’ve had bad experiences. Sometimes experience is the best teacher. I’m not cheating again. I don’t want wahala. I don’t want any wahala,”Davido strongly stated
In the same interview, Davido revealed plans to have white wedding with wife Chioma in Miami in August this year.
“I’m doing my white wedding in Miami, in August this year. Our traditional marriage shut down Nigeria because our relationship was in the public eye, and a lot have happened, apart from losing our child,” he said.
Davido and Chioma whose relationship trail back to Babcock University, have prevailed many personal storms together — including infidelity accusations and heartbreaking loss of their son, Ifeanyi, in 2022.
