The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its online portal for students to revise their choices for university and college placement for the 2025/2026 academic year.

In a statement released on Saturday, May 17, 2025, KUCCPS announced that the revision window will run from May 18 to May 27, 2025. The exercise targets students who were not successfully placed during the previous application period that ended on April 30, as well as those who have not yet applied for any course.

“Applicants who did not secure a course in the application that ended on April 30, 2025, are invited to log in again and choose from the remaining courses as listed on the portal,” stated the statement.

The placement service also extended the opportunity to Form Four leavers from the years 2000 to 2024 who attained a mean grade in their KCSE examinations but did not apply for placement. Eligible candidates are encouraged to visit the KUCCPS website at http://kuccps.ac.ke and access the student portal to complete or revise their applications.

Students who sat the 2024 KCSE and obtained C+ and above qualify for degree programmes, while those with C to E grades can apply for TVET programmes, which include artisan (Level 4), craft (Level 5), and diploma (Level 6) courses. Additionally, qualified applicants from 2000 to 2024 can apply for Diploma in Teacher Education programmes.

KUCCPS emphasized that the revision process is aimed at ensuring no eligible learner is left out of the placement cycle. During the initial application phase, KUCCPS deployed officers to 63 universities and colleges, its headquarters, and Huduma Centres across the country to provide guidance and support to applicants.

The agency encouraged all eligible candidates to take advantage of this final revision window to secure training opportunities at universities and colleges.
