The Nairobi City County Government has urged new landowners to register their properties in the Nairobi County Land Rated Database in a public notice issued on Saturday, May 24th.

Acting County Secretary and County Head of Public Service, Godfrey Akumali, has asked Nairobi residents with land titles that have not yet been registered in the database to ensure their properties are enrolled, while land owners in Kasarani, Embakasi East, Embakasi West, Embakasi Central, and Embakasi North have been notified first-hand to enroll their unregistered properties in the database.

Title holders in Ruai and Njiru wards are to present their documents to the Ruai Customer Care Centre (CCC) with the Njiru Deputy County Commissioner (DCC) offices are open for title holders in Ruai and Njiru wards to present their documents.

Mwiki, Kasarani and Clay City residents are to submit their documents to the Kasarani Sub-County offices within the Kasarani DCC compound.

Embakasi Central sub-county offices along Spine Road on Kayole’s Stage One will be available for land title holders from Matopeni/Spring Valley, Kayole North, South, Central and Komarock wards, while the Embakasi North sub-county offices in Dandora Phase 1 (formerly HDD offices) next to Wamwari’s stage..

Embakasi West sub-county offices along Church Road off Moi Drive in Umoja Phase 1 will play host to land title owners from Umoja Phases 1 and 2, Kariobangi South and Mowlem Wards, only for the KCC Settlement Scheme.

Embakasi East Sub County offices at Embakasi Social Hall located along Embakasi Road are open for Utawala, Mihang’o, Embakasi, Upper and Lower Savannah wards’ residents.

Property owners will be required to provide a copy of the title deed with the owner’s contact details indicated, a copy of their national identity card, and their Kenya Revenue Authority Personal Identification Number Certificate (KRA PIN), and a recently dated passport-sized photo,” read part of the public notice.

“During this period, relevant county officers will be stationed at the listed locations to offer land valuation, rates and other related services, including collecting customer views on the county rates and the payment process,” Akumali stated.
