A mother of three has been killed by an unknown person at Vatican Estate in Ol Kalou Town in Nyandarua County.
Her body was discovered inside her house lying in a pool of blood . The attacker cut her neck
The incident happened Monday afternoon during a heavy downpour.
According to Mizret Khavai a neighbor she was called by one of the deceased’s child when she had gone outside during the heavy downpour to fetch the rain water. ”Kulikuwa kunanyesha mvua kubwa sana, nikasikia mtoto akiniita, nikauliza ni nini? Akaniambia kuja uone, kuingia nikakuta huyo mama amechinjwa na ameshakufa.” she stated.
Khavai said it was she who alerted the other neighbors.” Hapo ndipo nilitoka nje nikapiga nduru watu wakakuja kuona ni nini imefanyika.”
Speaking after the unfortunate incident another neighbor blamed the police calling them ‘slow’. She told TV 47 that the cases have become rampant in Ol Kalou saying there is need for the police to take action to make sure victims get justice.
The body of the deceased has been moved to JM Kariuki Hospital mortuary as police have commence investigations.
