A section of Kipkaren-Selia residents in Mosop constituency Nandi county came out to defend Deputy Inspector General Eliud Lagat on Tuesday as residents took to the streets demanding he returns to work.

DIG Lagat stepped aside on Monday to allow investigations into the death of Albert Ojwang, blogger and a teacher, after being named as one of the suspects relating to Albert’s death.
