After a day-long public fallout over a love gone sour, content creator and comedian Mulamwah and his ex-lover Ruth K have publicly apologised to their fans.

In separate statements posted on their social media accounts, both admitted their mistakes and asked their followers for forgiveness

The first to speak out was Ruth K through her Instagram where she admitted fault and said she should have done better

“I know today’s posts may have come off the wrong way, and I take full responsibility. I should have done better. I will do better. To those who were hurt or disappointed today-please forgive me. To those still standing by me, your grace means everything.”her statement read.

She said she had been dealing with personal struggles and was choosing to step back and focus on her son and her personal growth.

“As a single mom, raising my son is both my greatest responsibility and my biggest blessing,” Ruth said.

“To those who were hurt or disappointed today, please forgive me,” she added.

Later, Mulamwah, addressed the issue in a very short statement where he wrote “Notice,” and continued to explain that he said he had reflected on his actions and was remorseful.

“I have retraced my steps. I was driven by a lot of factors but that does not justify the actions taken,” he said.

He apologised to fans, writing: “Poleni sana to the fans. I have disappointed lots of you in so many ways.”

He also reached out directly to Ruth: “Pole sana to R.K, mama Oyando. I forgive you. Hope you forgive too.”

He called for a change in focus and requested prayers going forward

“Let’s focus on the work ahead na tuombe Mungu atupee mwelekeo when it comes to making decisions in future.”

The fallout between the two had played out online, with bitter exchanges and accusations a show that raised eyebrows among their fans, with some asking questions if the two really broke up or it was just a clout chase moment.
