Kenyan rapper Mario TJ Cassela, popularly known as Trio Mio has cleared the air through a live video with his mum who clarified that he is a Luhya from Butsotso, Kakamega County.
The “cheza kama wewe” hit maker says that a lot of people tend to assume he is from Kamba or Kikuyu origin but in real sense Trio Mio is Italian, Congolese from his father and Luhya from his mother.
His mother who was teasing him on the live revealed that Trio Mio is Luhya just by the looks of his physique including his nose and clears every other assumption.
Trio Mio is managed by his mother, Sofia Irma Sakwa, who also serves as his personal manager.
Trio Mio is a Kenyan rapper, singer and songwriter who began his music career in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, with his debut single “Bazenga – Vile Inafaa.”
Trio Mio has worked with popular artists in Kenya such as Ssaru, Savara, Bien, Mejja, Nellythegoon among others with him realising hit tracks such as “serereka” ,”rengwa” which became anthems in Kenyan social space.
