In a dramatic and unprecedented development, USA President Donald J. Trump on Sunday early morning EAT announced that the United States had conducted a successful military strike on three of Iran’s key nuclear facilities, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.
Trump delivered an address to the nation, flanked by Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth praising the U.S. military while also calling for peace following the operation.
“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump stated. “All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home,” said President Trump.
The targeted sites Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan are critical components of Iran’s nuclear program. Fordow, in particular, has long been a source of concern for Western intelligence agencies due to its heavily fortified underground enrichment capabilities.
This US strike follows days of Iran-Israel war that has led to massive losses on both sides as a result of missile attacks and airstrikes after failed talks between Iran and USA on stopping Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
Trump seized the opportunity to assert American military dominance and precision. “Congratulations to our great American Warriors,” he said. “There is not another military in the World that could have done this.”
President Trump concluded his message with a striking appeal: “Now is time for peace!”
The US strikes marks a significant escalation in U.S.–Iran tensions and could trigger a new chapter in the long-standing conflict over Iran’s nuclear ambitions especially with global powers like China and Russia closely allied to Iran.
Trump further warned Iran against any retaliatory attempt stating that such move will be met by far more greater force.
