Ulinzi Sports Complex is set to host the grand finale of the FKF Cup today 29th June 2025 as football fans gear up for a what promises to be a thrilling final between Kenyan football giants Gor Mahia and minnows Nairobi United at 3pm.
The much-anticipated clash promises high drama as both teams battle for the prestigious title.
Gor Mahia, Kenya’s record FKF Premier League champions, are eyeing their only trophy to cap off what has been an underwhelming 2024/2025 season characterized by a couple of on and off-field issues. K’ogalo lost the league title to Police Fc marking an end to their domestic league dominance.
Standing in their way is Nairobi United, who have been the tournament’s surprise package, eliminating top contenders on their path to the final.
Prior to the final on the same day, a third-place playoff kicks off at noon featuring Mara Sugar FC against Murang’a Seal FC. Both sides will be looking to finish the competition on a high and secure a podium finish.
Football lovers are expected to throng the stadium, with security and event organizers assuring fans of smooth operations.
With silverware, pride, and bragging rights at stake, all eyes will be on Ulinzi Sports Complex as the 2025 FKF Cup reaches its climax.
