Police in Kisii are investigating an incident where a 50-year-old man was burned to death after allegedly killing his wife.
Stephen Oserio, 50, is said to have confessed to brutal killing of his wife, cooking her body and feeding it to his children.
Nyamache OCPD, Kipkulei Kipkemoi, has said the man had previously been arrested for killing his first wife before being released two years ago.
”When the police got to his home they found some body parts suspected to be of his deceased wife. The people got angry they killed him before burning his body, ” said the OCPD.
Onserio, who was known in the village for his cruelty, is also accused of impregnating one of his daughters, who is now under the protection of neighbors.
“They asked him about the whereabouts his wife and took him to his home. When they got there, they found body parts suspected to be of his wife,” said OCPD Kipkemoi.
He was beaten before his body was set on fire.
“In 2007 he killed his wife, that is why the community was suspicious,” added the OCPD.
The body of Onserio was taken to Nyamache Morgue as investigations continue.
